European history online: Hungaricana and more
The second lecture of the series “Archive Topics” is dedicated to the new national portal of Hungarian archives, libraries, museums and other cultural institutions and the online portal of historical maps of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Archivists and information specialists, historians and researchers, experts in cultural, scientific and educational institutions, students and academics and all who are interested in contemporary international trends, projects and practices in the archival world can meet new opportunities for cooperation and development of common information infrastructure at this event.
- Sándor Biszak will present MAPIRE – the Historical Maps of the Habsburg Empire.
- Csaba T. Reisz (National Archives of Hungary) will introduce the Hingarian Cultural Heritage Poprtal – Hungaricana.
The Topotheque: Linking heritage institutions and communities
Organized within the EU-funded project “co:op”, ICARUS HR and ICARUS will introduce the online service tool Topotheque to the interested public in Vukovar (HR).
After the recent inauguration of ICARUS HR, representatives of the Croatian ICARUS network will pressent current international initiatives and projects dedicated to the possibilities of cooperation and common development of information infrastructure in the presentation of cultural heritage.

This lecture of the lecture series “Archive Topics” is dedicated to the Slovenian e-archives project e-ARH.si. The project e-ARH.si is founded by European Union within the framework of the Operative Programme Competitiveness and cohesion 2014-2020 and it’s run by the Slovenian government and all public archives.
Experts from the Archives of Republic of Slovenia will present strategies, plans and activities regarding the development and implementation of e-archives in the Slovenian public archives service. The programme is open to the public and will be held in University Computer Centre in Zagreb, starting at 10 am.

Day of the Topotheque – History for Everyone
In times of globalization and digitization, returning and recollecting one´s own as well as local history gains importance. This event will inform local communities about funding possibilities to set up Topotheques – THE online service tool to safe-guarde historic documents and bring the past back to life.

ICARUS and ICARUS Croatia organize online Topotheque workshop for Topotheque administrators and starting Topotheques in Croatia, Serbia, BiH, Slovenia, Macedonia.
Workshop will be moderate by Vlatka Lemić and Alexander Schatek, author of Topotheque, will present Topotheque idea, work and new features. All interested for Topotheque activities are welcomed.
