Similar to the ICARUS−Lectures are our ICARUS@work workshops. They are organised analogous to the lectures but put stronger emphasise on practical excersises and training: one ICARUS member i.e. one country hosts a national workshop under the title ICARUS@work. The organisation of those workshops lies with the hosting partner. Each workshop should ideally last at least one day and consist of two blocks:

1. An appraisal of national activities in the area of digital processing of archival record
2. A discussion in context to the project and international developments

The introductory presentations regarding block 2 should be held by lecturers from various countries, ensuring an exchange on an international basis.
