“The FCGL is a Junior Research Group (JRG) established within the Zukunftskonzept (institutional strategy) of the 2ndGerman University Excellency Initiative. This concept has the general goal to improve the understanding of complex material, cultural and social topics. The FCGL matches this vision and bridges the well-established fields of the Computational Sciences and the Forensic Sciences by collaborative development of new methods to answer questions arising from Humanities and Life Sciences.”
