ICARUS Lecture #2: Volunteers & Archives

On October 29th, Peer Boselie – Sittard City Archive and Archif De Domijnen, gave the inspiring presentation “Volunteers & Archives – a burden or a chance?” sharing his long-lasting experience in integrating volunteers, with quite different backgrounds, in daily work of archival institutions.

Peer Boselie also gave an impressive overview on crowdsourcing and community sourcing projects in the heritage filed and especially in archival research, which profited extensively of volunteer’s contributions.

The session was being held in English and is available on  ICARUS YouTube channel – Have fun!

We want to sincerely thank Peer for hosting this session!
