Twice a year, the ICARUS community comes together at the ICARUS Convention to welcome new members, share the latest developments, and discuss the progress of ongoing projects and working groups inside and outside the consortium. The Conventions provide a unique platform for exchanging knowledge and experience in the archival field, fostering professional dialogue, and developing ideas for future projects and collaborations.

These gatherings bring together not only the international network of member institutions but also our individual members and corporate partners to enable a vivid exchange. Face-to-face interaction is at the heart of the ICARUS community. We believe that these regular meetings play a vital role in our success by strengthening professional relationships, building trust, and creating the foundation for long-term, sustainable cooperation.

Each ICARUS Convention is hosted by one of our member institutions and organised in close cooperation with the ICARUS headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
