University workshop
New times, new use-cases: digital repositories in archives and libraries
This workshop aims at describing how different meta data schemes and OAI-PMH protocols can be integrated into one management system. It will furthermore analyze data from Europeana (EDM) in view of how it can be applied to archives and libraries within the context of LInked Open Data.

This exhibition is dedicated to LIPSZKY János (1766-1826) – a hussar officer known for his cartographic accomplishments – celebrating his 250th birth anniversary.
Both, the exhibition and the accompanying flash conference are jointly organized by the National Széchényi Library and the National Archives of Hungary.

As part of the opening ceremony, the experts from the NSzL, the National Archives of Hungary, the Institute and Museum of Military History, the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary and the Eötvös Loránd University will present their relevant research.

The National Archives of Hungary organizes a round table within the EU-funded project co:op (community as opportunity) between archivists and users aiming at exchanging valuable experiences and improve team work between archival experts and the user commnuity.
The event will be held in Hungarian, registration is kindly reqeusted.
The Seminar “The Archival Military System in the Community of Madrid” aims to raise awareness towards the panorama of military archives that are based in the Community of Madrid.
To that end, it will be introduced with a lecture on the Archival Military System with respect to the Spanish State. Then there will be two round tables; one focused about central and general archives, and the other historical archives.

Round table at the City Archives Budapest
Within the ICARUS-Meeting #18 and the 4th partner meeting of the EU-funded project “community as opportunity (co:op)“, a round table will bring experts in the archival field and archive users to the table, opening the possibilities to exchange experiences and perspectives.

Lecture series “Archive topics” – All about university archives!
Organized by ICARUS HR, the University of Zagreb and ICARUS within the EU-funded project co:op, this first lecture in a series of lectures yet to come on “Archive topics” intents to inform archivists and information professionals, experts in the cultural, scientific and educational institutions, students and the academic community, and anyone else interested in contemporary international trends, projects and practices in the world of archives.
Keynote speaker Dr. Anne J. Gilliland is Professor and Director of the Archival Studies specialization in the Department of Information Studies, Director of the Center for Information as Evidence, Graduate School of Education & Information Studies, and a faculty affiliate of the Center for Digital Humanities at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She is also the director of the Archival Education and Research Initiative (AERI), a global collaborative effort amongst academic institutions that seeks to promote state-of-the-art in scholarship in Archival Studies.

This lecture of the lecture series “Archive Topics” is dedicated to the Slovenian e-archives project e-ARH.si. The project e-ARH.si is founded by European Union within the framework of the Operative Programme Competitiveness and cohesion 2014-2020 and it’s run by the Slovenian government and all public archives.
Experts from the Archives of Republic of Slovenia will present strategies, plans and activities regarding the development and implementation of e-archives in the Slovenian public archives service. The programme is open to the public and will be held in University Computer Centre in Zagreb, starting at 10 am.
