The Seminar “The Archival Military System in the Community of Madrid” aims to raise awareness towards the panorama of military archives that are based in the Community of Madrid.
To that end, it will be introduced with a lecture on the Archival Military System with respect to the Spanish State. Then there will be two round tables; one focused about central and general archives, and the other historical archives.

This conference is organized within the EU-funded project “co:op” by ICARUS and the newly founded ICARUS HR.
As official kick-off and public introduction of the Croatian archives network “ICARUS HR”, this event focuses on international initiatives and projects dedicated to the possibilities of future-oriented cooperation and development of IT infrastructures for making cultural heritage accessible in the digital age.
Within the ICARUS-Meeting #18 taking place from 17-19 October 2016 in Budapest, hosted by the Budapest City Archives (HU) and co-organized by the National Archives of Hungary within the EU-funded project “community as opportunity (co:op)“, this international conference on “Hungaricana”, the common website of Hungarian Archives, Museums and Libraries, will give valuable insights into the Hungarian Archival Landscape.
“Hungaricana” is operated by the Library of the Parliament and aims to give access to the cultural heritage of Hungary through a single online access point. Amongst the over 100 content providers are also the Budapest City Archives, the National Archives of Hungary as well as the National Museum of Hungary.

Round table at the City Archives Budapest
Within the ICARUS-Meeting #18 and the 4th partner meeting of the EU-funded project “community as opportunity (co:op)“, a round table will bring experts in the archival field and archive users to the table, opening the possibilities to exchange experiences and perspectives.

The Topotheque: Linking heritage institutions and communities
Organized within the EU-funded project “co:op”, ICARUS HR and ICARUS will introduce the online service tool Topotheque to the interested public in Vukovar (HR).
After the recent inauguration of ICARUS HR, representatives of the Croatian ICARUS network will pressent current international initiatives and projects dedicated to the possibilities of cooperation and common development of information infrastructure in the presentation of cultural heritage.

On March 23rd, 2022 ICARUS hosts the fifth online lecture!
Anabela Borges Teles Ribeiro, Maria dos Remédios Amaral (DGLAB) and Dorottya Szabó (National Archives of Hungary) are partners of the European Digital Treasures project and present their transmedia-exhibitions, which were created within the framework of EDT project!
