Within the EU-funded project co:op (community as opportunity – the creative archives’ and users’ network), the State Archives in Pazin cordially invite to presentations on the glagolitic alphabet in the Istrian and Kvarner region as well as additional regions on 28 May 2015.
The day will be rounded off with a trip to the Glagolitic Alley – the extraordinary glagolitic monumental complex between Roč and Hum. In the parrish church of Hum (Istria), Dražen Vlahov will present two glagolitic editions:
- the Registry of baptisms and marriages from Draguć in Istria and
- the three Glagolitic Registry Books from Prvić Island (1689–1711).
On 29 May 2015 the convention will be continued at the State Archives in Rijeka focusing on the glagolitic alphabet in education, ecclesiastical, literary and traditional heritage as well as the glagolitic alphabet in activities and collections.
The sessions will be followed by a round table (English & Croatian) on the topic of the preservation of archival materials of glagolitic ecclesiastical origin.
