ICARUS celebrates its 15^th anniversary and the beginning of a new era with our new president Birgit Kibal from the National Archives of Estonia!

For this reason we cordially invite you to a meeting with a discussion how to strategically orient and organize ICARUS in the future:

The meeting will take place from 23^rd to 24^th June 2023 in Klein-Mariazell (30 min. from Vienna – see www.mariazell-wienerwald.at).

Approximate programme:

23^rd June: 

• 11.00 Bus transfer from Vienna main railway station
• 12.00 Welcome at the meeting venue – the old abbey cellar in Klein-Mariazell 43a
• 13.30-17.30 Professional part – discussions on the future of ICARUS
• dinner to be organized on your own, but from 20.00 onwards there is the possibility to have a glass of wine together in the old abbey cellar

24^th June: 

• 09.30-12.00 Professional part – conclusions
• 12.00 Bus transfer from Vienna main railway station
• 13.00-14.00 ICARUS4all: general assembly (for ICARUS4all members only)
• 15.00-15.30 Organ concert in the basilica with guided tour by Thomas Aigner
• 16.00-17.30 Festive event: festive speech by Dr. Margit Ksoll-Marcon, former director general of Bavarian statal archives
• 17.30-20.00 Buffet
• 20.00-05.00 Anniversary party with Na Mahones o Inis Beag (Irish folk), Schlawiener & friends (Rock, Pop covers) and some surprises!
