„Angerio Filangieri photographic archive – the retrieval of memory through the Topotheque web platform“

On 7th  of April Dr. Antonello Migliozzi, from University of Naples Federico II at Centro MUSA – Museum Center of Agricultural Sciences, gave a presentation on  “Angerio Filangieri photographic archive – the retrieval of memory through the Topotheque web platform”.

Dr Migliozzi gave an insight on the archival material retrieved and collected by Filangieri and the opportunities offered to researchers in different fields, by the online availability of the photo collection. The Angerio Filangieri Topotheque has been developed inside the Co:op Project, carried out by University of Naples in cooperation with ICARUS, by now it hosts about 2500 pictures. Several pictures could be used in videos, to compare past and present status of landscape and urban landscapes in the Campanian area.

The development of Filangieri Topotheque allowed to involve students, local communities and a broader public, and is still a work in progress at MUSA.

A group of students from University of Naples joined the online session in the framework of the prof. Antonella Ambrosio’s lectures.

The session was held in English and is available on ICARUS YouTube channel.
